Defined in header <cparse/Indentation.hh>
void setIndentation( uint_fast16_t indent ) noexcept;
Sets the current indent to indent raw units (space characters). Does not affect the step size.
Parameters
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
indent | The new indent, in space characters. |
Return value
(none)
Exceptions
noexcept.
Notes
Use this to seed or force an indent when the step-based right() / left() API is too coarse — for example, aligning subsequent lines to a column determined at runtime.
For the common case of "clear the indent to zero", the guarded alternative is reset(), which also sets the step size.
