Increases the current indent by step * getStepSize() raw units. If the addition would exceed std::numeric_limits<uint_fast16_t>::max(), the indent is set to that maximum instead.

Notes
Over-flow is guarded: no wrap-around. The overflow guard exists because step_size * step is computed as a uint_fast16_t multiplication and could in principle overflow before the comparison; the check compares max() - indent < jump first, so even a saturated step * step_size triggers the clamp rather than wrapping the counter.
